Maestro Abby!

I think we may have another musician on our hands. Abby loves to play the piano and sing. (But, she also gets super distracted as soon as I pull out the camera.)

11 Months

Well, it's official! My baby is growing up way too fast! She's 11 months old today. This past week has been full of new things. You have seen that she stands by herself.......well she has been taking a couple of tentative steps here and there.

She also has cut her first tooth! (It's a little hard to see, but it's the ONLY pic I have of it! Bottom right tooth.)

She's all smiles when we take her outside........

Except when we try to put her on the grass. (Still hates it.)

All better now that she has Daddy's feet to shield her from the grass!

Aren't Dads the greatest!? It doesn't really matter if it's Father's Day or not, Abby just can't get enough of her Dad! And who can blame her? He's Great!! We love you Gerritt! Happy Father's Day!

Standing Up!

While it isn't unusual for Abby to stand up all the time, it is unusual for her to do it without holding on to some sort of sturdy furniture. Well, this afternoon she had different plans! Here she is standing up without the help of furniture!

Abby's hair really can stay down if I really try!(Don't worry, by morning it will be standing straight up again. Just the way you all like it.)

In all honesty though, I have no idea how to make Abby's hair look more girly. When I comb it down after a bath she looks like a boy, but when I leave it to it's own devices she looks like I don't take care of her! Any suggestions?
